Spring Daisy, 2007

My second completed custom pony, Spring Daisy was created for the custom contest at the 2007 WI Pony Meet held in Wausau, WI.
She was made from a G3 Star Swirl. I placed flower shaped stickers on her legs, then her green gradient was airbrushed on with a cheap Testors hobby airbrush. After removing the stickers, the flower centers were painted on with acrylics. Her eyes were retouched, but not completely repainted, and she was given a tiny daisy in each eye to replace the tiny star originally on them. The 3-D daisy cutie mark was sculpted with Sculpty, then painted with acrylics. It was then inset into her side and glued down.
Spring Daisy was rehaired with Dollyhair.com Pineapple, Virgin Snow and Daquari Ice. She was my first fully rehaired custom.
